Sivantos Group is a manufacturer of hearing aids. It was spun off from Siemens Audiology Solutions after Siemens AG sold the company to EQT VI and Santo Holding GmbH in 2015. In 2018, Widex and Sivantos (which also owns Signia, Rexton, TruHearing, Audibene, HearUSA, and Hear.com) announced an $8B merger, creating the 3rd largest hearing conglomerate in the world.

According to HEARING HEALTH MATTERS Widex currently holds an overall satisfaction rating of 2.5 stars out of 5, based on 31 customer reviews, on the website ConsumerAffairs.com. Overall, there are mixed reviews on this site, with some users complaining about audio quality. “I have had a Widex hearing aid for my right ear for 7 months. No matter what setting I use, I experience feedback whenever I touch the hearing aid or whenever someone or something comes close to my ear,” notes one reviewer. “This is very annoying. So far I have not been able to find a remedy.”

"Absolute joke of a company, bad Production Manager who has not a clue about hearing aids, he likes to send out used receivers that have been in patients ears, all you do is clean them up, I would never buy a hearing aid from this company. Bad design of the hearing instruments too, so many returns its unbelievable. Avoid at all costs, the production staff dont make you feel welcome at all. "This company is unproffesional. The upper management have no people skills and make their subordinates feel worthless. If you have a diffrent point of view opposed to theirs you will get hostile responses and picked on at work. They will hand you a job that belongs to someone else expect you to learn it in like a day or they automatically write you up. if a mistake is done on an order they explained just how to do it and you do it the exact same way they will say i never said to do it like that. If you take a bathroom break supervisors will fallow you inside or time you in by the cameras. This company is absolutely rediculous.cant say i have anything nice to say about them.terrible upper management. hostile enviroment"

"This can be a fun company to work in if you already know someone who has seniority or is up on the ladder, they can help you advance quickly that is the only way to move up fast or else your stuck in the position of wherever you get hired. Don't go in and think advancement is going to come to you. There is more talk than actually doing work until the time comes. Management only cares about management they might play fake and act like they care about your personal issues at home or feel bad for you but as soon as you walk away they talk behind your back, if you are really lucky (kissing up or on your knees) then you might actually get favorited. There is a lot of favoritism here. There is a lot of drama here. Hardest part of the job? Dealing with the people who have a sense of entitlement everyday. Since they are finally changing the way they do everything to the same routine for almost every person anyone can learn how to do this job for the company. Workplace culture is "friendly" but fake, a lot of people put their masks on here and play pretend at all the events they have. Don't work in operations it is like high school groups here. be a salary employee. There is only two shifts here, a 9-5 or 11-7 in operations and a 12-8pm in customer service. If you get an hourly job don't expect a pat on the back when you do something right because someone else will tell you "how" to do it better or more efficient. Job security is volatile, you can be let go any day without notice once you sign that employment contract. Lastly, don't ever ask for a raise here, you will get maybe a dollar"

"Hands down the most poorly-managed company I've worked for - run like a high school and unless you're one of the popular crowd, you miss opportunities, your opinions aren't heard, or you are treated poorly until you leave. Management likes to spend money partying with employees, but only certain ones so there's an environment of mistrust, low morale, and complete lack of professionalism. There is no clear direction because management is not skilled enough to know how to execute and make use of talent they already have. "Widex has a great work culture. The turn over ratio of people being let go is very alarming and I do not feel like I have good job security there. I feel like I have no room for advancement at my company. I have great supervisors and co-workers which make the job fun. They are very flexible as far as if I need my schedule switched. My commute is about 3 minutes away. I feel like I am capable to do much more than my current position. My skill set and past work knowledge has prepared me to do so much more than I currently do. "If you don't play tennis or golf, or otherwise schmooze the management nothing gets done. Too many layers of management and too many people's authorization needed to do basic server maintenance. Had to get 3 manager's approvals just to correct a snapshot issue with a VM during a weekend when there is no production. Last minute production issues might have you packing boxes of hearing aides to be shipped out and working late or on a Saturday with little to no notice."

"I tried their hearing aids and they failed in 4 months. I wanted a refund and they said the product was not theirs? Said they merged with Sivantos(?) and it was their BT product! If you merged it’s still your company! They directed me to ANOTHER company WS Audiology who were rude and not helpful either. Basically they run a shell game. Pitiful."
